Gratitude Week 2014: Winners

Gratitude Week is one of our favorite times of the year because it gives us the chance to connect with our Volunteer Card holders to hear their stories, learn about their favorite organizations, and see their fun pictures from volunteer trips! This year we heard from so many of you and it was fantastic! Thanks to all who participated.

Here are this year’s Gratitude Week winners:

Day 1 – Win a $100 donation to your favorite nonprofit

“I am so grateful to the volunteer opportunities at Kalani Honua in Pahoa, Hawaii. Over many years, I have volunteered to help the non-profit continue to deliver an incredible resource to the poorest region in Hawai’i. Kalani provides a much needed community center that gives and supports space for performance art, sustainable living, healthy yoga classes, and many more activities for the well being of the community.In addition, they do a magnificent job of keeping Hawaiian culture alive by holding weekly hawaiian cultural classes, lectures, performances and ceremonies. To top it all off, they provide an amazing experience to the volunteers to help themselves immensely by contributing to the well being of others. What happens here effects the rest of Hawaii and the rest of the world. I am very grateful for Kalani!” – Taylor Powell
